Rolling pins at the ready – here are some easy ways your school can bake and raise money for small charities across the UK.
Mix it up and turn your cake sale into a contest for your class. From writing the rules, to judging the bakes, let students run the show from start to finish. Charge £2 for students to enter their bakes and they can enjoy them at the end of the school day.
POP-UP TUCK SHOP
Pay to eat loads of sweet and savoury goodies. Ask parents to donate their child’s favourite snacks to the class Tuck Shop. Allow each child to bring in a donation to buy a tasty treat (or two) and enjoy!
TRICK THE TEACHER
Bake sweet treats for your teachers… with a spicy twist! Hold an assembly and get teachers to guess the secret ingredient in the cakes. Think marmite, ketchup or even chilli flakes. Every time they guess wrong, students can donate to sponge them with cream-layered cake.
