Classic FM have begun the mammoth task of recording a charity single in just one day, with a host of stars swinging by Make Some Noise HQ to take part.
Soloist Katherine Jenkins OBE has already graced the Global building to record her stunning vocal. Accompanying her is composer and conductor Julian Reynolds, the students from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance and Classic FM presenter Alexander Armstrong, who is practising his singing as we speak!

Alfie Boe and Classic FM presenter Aled Jones are expected later this afternoon to record their musical moments in partnership with Laura Wright, Sol3 Mio, and Britain’s Got Talent stars Jonathan Antoine and Lucy Kay.
With music by Classic FM’s Composer in Residence Howard Goodall, we’re sure the single’s in good hands, but it doesn’t end there. With a sparkling line-up, the track will also feature appearances from Myleene Klass on the piano, Classic FM favourite Miloš on the guitar, the trombone talents of John Suchet and star violinist Charlie Siem. Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen is even making his debut on the glockenspiel!
Desperate for a taster of what’s going on? Listen to our exclusive clip of Jane Jones interviewing Classic FM presenter Tim Lihoreau at Air Studios for the all latest news.
Want to get your hands on a copy? The track will be produced this evening by Anna Barry who will be making sure the 9pm deadline is hit, so you can get downloading the track from iTunes just after midnight.
All proceeds from the sale of the single, Steadfast, will go to Global’s Make Some Noise. The money will support our projects across the country, helping children and young people affected by illness, disability, bereavement or lack of opportunity.
