ICAP Charity Day is one of the biggest fundraising events in the City, and has been running for over 25 years. For one day each year, ICAP, the leading financial markets operator, gives away its revenues and commissions to a number of charities. This year we were thrilled to hear we were one of ICAP’s chosen charities!
Team Global’s Make Some Noise headed to ICAP’s offices to join the fun of Charity Day and brought along some special guests. Capital London’s Roman Kemp, Vick Hope and Sonny Jay took to the mini golf in the hopes of winning some delicious doughnuts but were beaten by the competitive Marvin Humes! Capital XTRA’s Tim Westwood got involved, along with Smooth’s Tina Hobley and Kate Garraway. Other familiar faces who came along to support Make Some Noise were Love Island’s Dani Dyer and Radio X’s Toby Tarrant.
The event was a fantastic opportunity to meet other charities, see how the trading floor operates and close some all-important deals – all in the name of doing good! A big thank you to ICAP for choosing us as one of the charities they’re supporting in 2018 – the money raised will help fund 3 of our incredibly important disability and illness projects, supporting young people and their families in London and Nationally.
