Want to become a Global's Make Some Noise charity?
Global’s Make Some Noise funds life changing projects delivered by small charities, making a real difference in communities across the UK. We’re here to make sure nobody has to face life’s toughest challenges alone.
As the official charity of Global, the Media and Entertainment Group, we tap into the power of Global’s radio brands including Capital, Heart, Classic FM, Smooth, LBC, Radio X, Capital XTRA and Gold, as well Global’s extensive outdoor advertising portfolio. We use this to raise money and shine a light on some of the biggest issues affecting charities. Helping to change the lives of over 227,350 people across the UK.
Applications are currently closed, and will re-open later this month, for charity projects to be funded in 2026. For more information on the application process, and how to join our mailing list to be notified when applications open, please see below.

HOW TO BECOME A CHARITY PARTNER
Our current programme prioritises grant-giving for small charities that are working to address one of our key outcome areas for achieving change in communities across the UK.
Our current four key outcome areas are:
Providing shelter and safety
Supporting physical and/or mental health
Developing life skills
Reducing isolation or improving inclusion
Here is a list of the types of things we are most likely to fund:
Staff salaries predominantly associated with direct delivery work
Any programme, sessional, service or project delivery costs
Equipment, technology, materials or refurbishment costs which are related to direct service delivery work (we cannot contribute to large build projects, fundraising or marketing costs)
A contribution to running costs/overheads (in contribution to a wider direct-delivery programme)
This list is not exhaustive; we have funded many different areas of work and initiatives. If you are unsure that what you want to apply for meets our criteria, or has a good chance of being funded, contact the Make Some Noise Grants Team at grants@makesomenoise.com.

*We recently amended our criteria on accepting applications from charities that we have previously given a grant. This year, we welcome applications from charities we have previously supported, provided that the funding ended at least five years before this funding round (i.e. projects that concluded in 2021 or earlier, as this funding begins in April 2026).
