Disney’s Hercules x Make Some Noise 2025
Disney’s Hercules teamed up with Make Some Noise in 2025 for a spectacular week of presenter-led challenges, unforgettable storytelling, and money-can’t-buy content across Heart. The partnership set out to promote the launch of Disney’s Hercules, drive ticket sales, highlight the show’s iconic music and cast.
The whole Heart family got involved, including Pandora Christie, Ashley Roberts, Amanda Holden, Jamie Theakston, Emma Bunton and Aston Merrygold to raise funds and awareness for Make Some Noise.
Heart’s Herculean Heroes
Inspired by the themes at the core of Disney’s Hercules - strength, courage and heroism - Heart took on a station-wide challenge: Heart’s Herculean Heroes, proudly supported by Disney’s Hercules, the electrifying new musical.
Across the week, Amanda Holden, Jamie Theakston, Ashley Roberts and Pandora Christie each faced a thrilling, high-stakes challenge. For every challenge successfully completed, another extraordinary prize was added to Heart’s Prize of a Lifetime pot.
A week of heroic feats
- Monday 6th October - Ashley Roberts kicked off the week by abseiling down Portsmouth’s iconic Spinnaker Tower, taking on dizzying heights in true Herculean style.
- Tuesday 7th October - Amanda Holden faced a pit of snakes in one of the most talked-about moments of the week.
- Wednesday 8th October = Jamie Theakston was suspended 60 metres in the air, facing his fear with nerves of steel.
- Thursday 9th October - Pandora Christie featured in Disney’s Hercules, bringing her own performance flair to the show.
- Friday 10th October - Make Some Noise Day saw Aston Merrygold deliver the ultimate prize direct to the winner’s door!
Powerful integrations bringing Hercules centre-stage
Throughout the activity, Disney’s Hercules was woven seamlessly into Heart’s storytelling. Standout moments included:
- The muses (the soulful, high-energy narrators of Disney’s Hercules, known for their powerhouse vocals) pre-recorded a bespoke re-working of the iconic song ‘Zero to Hero’ to include the winner’s name, as well as singing the Heart jingle live on-air
- An exclusive interview with the Resident Director of Disney’s Hercules, who joined Heart Breakfast live on-air
- Pandora’s surprise cameo in the show itself, which gave listeners a unique glimpse behind the scenes
- The campaign’s naming “Heart’s Herculean Heroes”, and the presenters’ Herculean challenges, creating a natural and thematic bridge to the world of Hercules
These integrations ensured the musical remained at the heart of the week, reinforcing its themes.
