PureGym went the distance for Make Some Noise

At Make Some Noise, we love teaming up with people and partners who bring big energy, big heart and big impact. In October 2025, our friends at PureGym did exactly that - helping people push themselves further, while raising vital funds and awareness for small charities supporting those facing life’s toughest challenges.

Helping everyone reach their goals

PureGym are all about helping people feel good and go further, whatever their goals, and they proved it by sponsoring Kem Cetinay’s epic 24-Hour Padel Challenge, Capital’s biggest charity activation of the year.

For a full day and night, Kem took to the court at Padium in Canary Wharf, smashing volleys and battling through the inevitable energy dips, all to raise money for Make Some Noise. He wasn’t alone - celebrity friends, Capital presenters and supporters swung by to take him on, cheer him on, and keep him going when the going got tough.

PureGym pledged an initial £50,000 donation to Make Some Noise, then doubled it to £100,000 when Kem completed his challenge, bringing even greater support to life-changing charities.

Kem’s challenge inspired listeners and members alike to dig deep and give generously. His effort helped in achieving our record-breaking appeal total, £4.8 million, supporting grassroots projects that change lives everyday.

Supporting communities across the UK

The funds raised through this partnership are already helping people through hardship, from tackling poverty and loneliness to supporting mental health and giving young people a brighter start.

PureGym’s involvement went beyond sponsorship - it showcased how brands and broadcasters can come together to fuel big ambitions for good causes. A huge thank you to PureGym for being there for everyone, both on the padel court and in communities across the nation. Together, we are proving that no challenge is too big when it’s done for the right reasons, and no one has to face life’s toughest moments alone.
