Small Charity Week 2026
When Brits need help, they rank small charities as their most trusted source of support, second only to friends and family*.
These vital organisations are at the heart of our communities – supporting people through life’s toughest moments. They may be small in size, but their impact is huge.
Following the success of its first year, we’ve once again teamed up with Big Give and NCVO for Small Charity Week 2026 (22nd – 29th June) - to champion small charities holding communities together. Because when people need support, small charities show up.
Through this joint initiative, match funding will be available to the 257 charities taking part, allowing them to continue their essential work in their communities. A huge 77% of these have an annual income of under £500,000 – providing funding and visibility to some of the smallest organisations in the country. This wouldn’t be possible without the support from generous funders, including players of the Postcode Lottery.
Together, we're aiming to help even more small charities gain the funding, recognition and resilience they need to make a lasting difference.
