Magical moments at Winter Wonderland

As part of our continued partnership with Hyde Park Winter Wonderland, we were thrilled to create unforgettable memories once again at this year’s Winter Wishes Day. Families from some of our amazing charities joined us for a truly festive day out, including ATF, Stepping Stones DS, Bridge for Young People, Grace Kelly Cancer Trust, WOLO, Boxing Futures, and Girls Friendly Society.

Families enjoyed the rides, festive sights, and the sparkle of Winter Wonderland - making memories that will last. The warmth, joy, and excitement shared by the children and their families made the day feel every bit as special.

We were delighted to see Chloe and Isabelle, who are supported through the ‘Get Moving’ project at Stepping Stones DS, funded by Make Some Noise. The project helps children develop balance, mobility, and confidence - skills that were put to joyful use as they explored the park together.

One parent shared a heartfelt message about the day:

“I just wanted to send a heartfelt thank you to you and the whole Global’s Make Some Noise team for the incredibly kind gift of tickets to Winter Wonderland. Being able to bring Chloe and Isabelle with their mums, Katharine and Chantelle, and my son TJ, who is autistic, to the closed SEN & Families session made such a profound difference. Opportunities like this are rare for our families and myself; the quieter environment and reduced crowds meant the children could truly enjoy the space, the atmosphere, and the rides in a way that simply wouldn’t be possible on a regular day. It allowed them to get into the Christmas spirit in a setting that felt safe, calm, and magical.

We also really appreciated that Georgia and Fiona walked around with us, as well as some more of your team spending time with the families and capturing the day. It added a lovely sense of connection, and despite the freezing cold and a rather miserable start to the morning, the weather brightened up and the day turned into such a joy. The smiles, the excitement, and the sense of inclusion meant more than we can properly express.

A huge thank you to our partner, Hyde Park Winter Wonderland, for making this special day possible, and for helping us bring the magic of the season to families who need it most.
