Take on The Great North Run 2023 for Global’s Make Some Noise!
We can’t wait to see our Team Make Some Noise runners back on the iconic Great North Run city to sea course in September; starting in Newcastle City Centre, and heading towards the River Tyne, and finishing at the traditional finish line in South Shields.
This unique 13.1-mile route takes runners over the iconic Tyne Bridge and along the sea front in South Shields, and you may even catch a glimpse of the Red Arrows flying overhead!
Grab a free in-run pint (we heard this might be a thing), enjoy the incredible local support, treat yourself to a well-deserved post-race fish and chips, or just soak in the incredible view as you reach the final mile.
You don’t want to miss out on this special event as the atmosphere is absolutely electric, and the race attracts world class athletes like Mo Farah and Haile Gebrselassie.
Every pound you raise will help us to support over 100 small and local charities across the UK including food banks, mental health helplines, community projects and so much more. You’ll also be raising awareness for small charities that often go unnoticed and they need your support.
Check your diary as the next race will be taking place on 10th September 2023.
