These are uncertain and tough times for everyone. Those who already have challenging lives risk reaching breaking point.
Global’s Make Some Noise supports small charities that look after the most vulnerable in our communities. Our priority at this time has been to let the charities know that we’re there, as always, to stand by them.
We will be doing everything we can to continue supporting families across the country who rely on these charities.
Local charities are a lifeline for families living with illness and disability, and those facing isolation and anxiety. They’re there when families have nowhere to turn – working tirelessly to provide advice, support and kindness to get them through challenging times.
For those who are able, there has perhaps never been a more important time to give to those in need. As the NHS is under untold pressure, and are forced to postpone operations and appointments, the most vulnerable will be even more desperate for help.
At the best of times, these charities achieve incredible and life-changing work through volunteers and very little resources. Today, they’re facing an uncertain future. They need us, and you, now more than ever.
Over the coming weeks and months, we’ll be giving you some ways to work with us to look after your communities by supporting the small charities affected by coronavirus and the families that depend upon them.
Help us protect their vital work.
