We’re very proud that Global’s Make Some Noise picked up a Gold Award at the radio industry’s prestigious Arqiva Awards.
Presented by former government minister, Tessa Jowell, the Social Action Initiative Award recognised the work of Global’s charity, Make Some Noise. Our fundraising culminated in one special day in October 2015, when all of Global’s radio brands came together to make some noise for small charities throughout the UK.
Emma Bradley, director of Global Goodness, said:
“I am delighted that Global’s Make Some Noise has been recognised with this Gold Award. We set out to do something different for small charities – not simply to raise money, but also to give them a voice to help them get heard. On top of that, we provide masterclasses on marketing, social media and PR so the small charities can make some more noise themselves. We created something really special and it was a privilege to work with the charities and tell their stories. Thank you to everyone who has supported us and especially to our small charities that make a huge difference to the lives of young people right across the country.“
