Over £1million raised at Global's Make Some Noise Night 2022

Tom Grennan, Charlie Puth, Sam Ryder and Olly Murs joined Global’s all-star presenter line-up at Global’s Make Some Noise Night 2022, supported by Barclaycard, to raise money and support Global’s Make Some Noise.

Celebrating our seventh year, the star-studded event raised an incredible £1,031,502 for small charities and projects providing vital support for people living through the toughest of circumstances.

The night was hosted by many of Global’s big-name presenters, including Amanda Holden, Jamie Theakston, Roman Kemp, Myleene Klass, Alexander Armstrong, Nick Ferrari, James O’Brien, Marvin Humes, JK and Kelly Brook. Chart-topping BRIT-nominated musician Tom Grennan; multi-platinum hit singer-songwriter Charlie Puth, multi-award-winner and Eurovision star Sam Ryder, and one of the UK’s most popular singers and entertainers Olly Murs, took to the stage at The Londoner hotel in Leicester Square to perform in front of almost 400 special guests.

Home to Heart, Capital, Smooth, Classic FM, LBC, Radio X and Gold, Global brought together all its radio brands to raise much-needed funds for small charities providing crucial services, including food banks, mental health and domestic abuse helplines, carer support, homeless shelters, community projects and employment programmes.

Global’s presenters including Heart’s Jamie Theakston and Amanda Holden, Ashley Roberts, JK and Kelly Brook, and Pandora Christie; Capital’s Roman Kemp and Marvin Humes; Classic FM’s Alexander Armstrong and Charlotte Hawkins; Classic FM and Smooth’s Myleene Klass; LBC’s Nick Ferrari and James O’Brien, The News Agents’ Jon Sopel, and Radio X’s Johnny Vaughan all gave their support on the night.

For the first time, Barclaycard was the payment partner of Global’s Make Some Noise. All the money raised from the event goes to Global’s Make Some Noise.

Stephen Miron, Group CEO of Global, said: “To raise more than £1 million for Global’s Make Some Noise in one night is fantastic and I feel incredibly proud of what we have achieved. It means that we have raised almost £30 million and supported 441 projects across 331 charities since Global’s Make Some Noise was created in 2014. A massive thank you to our superstar music artists Tom Grennan, Charlie Puth, Sam Ryder and Olly Murs, our good friends from the world of music and entertainment, and the entire Global family for their support and generosity.
