The big day is here! No matter which one of our 8 stations you listen to, today will be a truly special day full of spectacular events, celebrity guests and once in a lifetime prizes.

Some of the biggest stars from music and entertainment have shown their support for Global’s Make Some Noise, including Taylor Swift, Olly Murs, Michael Bublé, Ant and Dec, Alfie Boe, Ed Sheeran, Arctic Monkeys, Noel Gallagher and many more.

Capital’s Dave Berry and Lisa Snowdon kick-started the day with the lovely Taylor Swift at 6am from the top of The Shard. Whoever raises the least money will be cleaning the windows of London’s tallest building… from the outside!

Classic FM have gathered stars including Katherine Jenkins and Alfie Boe to record a single for Global’s Make Some Noise alongside your favourite Classic FM presenters. They will record, mix, produce and release the track on iTunes all within 24 hours! Help get the track, titled Steadfast, to the top of the classical chart by downloading it on October 10th.

On Heart, Jenni Falconer has launched Bike Some Noise at Global’s London Studios in Leicester Square. Heart presenters and charity champions are currently cycling the distance from Land’s End to John O’Groats, all in just 12 hours! Keep tuned in to Heart on the day to hear their progress.

The Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg will take to the tennis court for LBC with Smooth presenter and British number one tennis player – Andrew Castle. They’ll be playing against the winner of this amazing auction prize, with The Speaker of the House of Commons, John Bercow as umpire, and Nick Ferrari as commentator.

As if all this wasn’t enough XFM has brought together some of the biggest names in music. The exclusive Evening with Noel Gallagher sold out within a minute of going on sale, but YOU could still win a ticket by listening in today.
