Small Charity Week 2025 raised over £1.8 million!

Small Charity Week 2025 raised over £1.8 million!

Over £1.8 million raised for small charities!

Global’s Make Some Noise, in partnership with Big Give and NCVO, launched the UK’s first nationwide Small Charity Week match funding campaign. This seven-day online campaign, which ran from 12pm on 23rd until 5pm on 30th June 2025, brought much-needed support to small charities making a big difference in their communities. Thanks to your generosity, we raised over £1.8 million!

These vital funds will empower vital organisations to continue delivering life-changing work in their communities – from offering mental health support to tackling food poverty and so much more 💛

We spotlighted some of the incredible charities we’re supporting through the campaign on LBC, including Safe and Sound Group, The New Normal, Kool Carers and Be Free Campaign.

And shared the stories of people like Ava and Peangploy who could benefit from the generous support.

Why is it so important to support small charities?

Small charities across the UK are being pushed to the brink by a ‘triple whammy’ of rising costs, increased demand and shrinking income from public donations and grants.

New research from Big Give, Global’s Make Some Noise and NCVO reveals the alarming reality facing these organisations – often unseen but indispensable lifelines in their communities – ahead of the UK’s first nationwide Small Charity Week match funding campaign.

A survey of over 700 small charities (with incomes under £1 million) found that nearly half say their financial situation is so grave that they’re at risk of closure within a year.

And 53% are facing increased demand without increased funding.

Suzanne Ryder Richardson, Director of Global Goodness, Global’s Make Some Noise, said: “We work with incredible small charities on the frontline of the UK’s most urgent issues – from loneliness to food insecurity. They’re doing vital work with limited resources, and they need our support now more than ever. This campaign puts a spotlight on them and gives the public a powerful way to support them at scale. Every charity in this campaign has been chosen due to their outstanding impact on the communities they serve across the UK, and we’re delighted to be supporting them and amplifying their stories across Global’s platforms during the week.”
