2014: Take That Perform As A Trio For The First Time

2014: Take That Perform As A Trio For The First Time

Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald performed their first ever set as a three-man band at Global’s Make Some Noise Night in 2014.

The mighty Take That sung a string of hit singles without departed band member Jason Orange at the fundraising event put on by our charity, Make Some Noise.

Slipping into sharp suits and stepping on stage together, the three pop icons didn’t let his absence affect their amazing pop performance though as the crowd sung along to a collection of their greatest tracks.

Take That joined the Kaiser Chiefs, mezzo-soprano Katherine Jenkins OBE and the incredibly talented Ella Henderson at London’s Embankment along with many of Global’s presenters who lent their support on the night.

Capital’s Dave Berry and Lisa Snowdon, Heart London’s Jamie Theakston and Emma Bunton, Nick Ferrarri from LBC, Smooth Radio’s Kate Garraway, Jenni Falconer from Heart, Myleene Klass from Classic FM and Smooth Radio, Tim Westwood from Capital XTRA and Marvin Humes from Capital and The Vodafone Big Top 40 all came to watch the manband in their brand new formation!

Held at Supernova in London, Global’s Make Some Noise Night raised around £500,000 to help disadvantaged children and young people across the UK, to add to the £1.1 million that was raised on Global’s Make Some Noise day in October.
