2018: £1 million raised on Global's Make Some Noise Night!

On Tuesday 20th November, Global brands came together along with some very special guests for Global’s Make Some Noise Night. The annual star-studded charity gala, supported by DFS, raised a record £1 million for small charities across the UK that struggle to get heard.

Alfie Boe wowed the audience at Global’s Make Some Noise Night in London
Moya Angela from Dreamgirls the musical performed for guests

Our guests were treated to live performances from worldwide superstar tenor Alfie Boe, the multi-million selling Snow Patrol and Broadway sensation Moya Angela from the musical Dreamgirls. Alongside the spectacular performances, we were joined by Jigsaw4u, one of the 32 small charities we’re proud to be supporting this year. Global presenters including Marvin and Rochelle Humes, Myleene Klass, James O’Brien and Jamie Theakston co-presented the show.

Snow Patrol closed the show in London

Now in its fifth year, the evening included the chance to bid on some incredible auction prizes – including tickets to the Wimbledon Men’s Final, a first class visit to New York to meet Andrea Bocelli at Madison Square Garden and a brand new Mini Cooper car!

As a result, an amazing £1 million was raised for Global’s Make Some Noise. A huge thank you to those who joined us for the all-star event and gave so generously – the money raised will help disadvantaged children, young people and their families across the UK.
