Capital turned up the volume and Made Some Noise

Capital turned up the volume and Made Some Noise

It was surprise after surprise on Capital for Make Some Noise Day – including a jam-packed rosta of extra-special guests, unlikely challenges, hilarious covers and exclusive sessions, as we made some noise for those who don’t get heard.

Capital’s Dave and Lisa set Olly Murs the task of getting himself into all 8 of Global’s Radio stations in just 1 hour – that’s Capital Xtra, Radio X, Classic FM, LBC, Heart, Gold Smooth and ending up back at Capital. Check out the hilarious results here!

Capital’s next visitor has said ‘it’s a no from me’ to thousands of hopeful superstars, but Capital listeners got to be the judges when Simon Cowell stepped into the spotlight and showed off his rapping abilities to help raise money on Make Some Noise Day.

The music mogul rapped Flo Rida’s ‘I Don’t Like It, I Love It’ alongside his fellow X-Factor judge, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini. We thought it was a perfect choice for the notorious X-Factor tycoon, although we’re not sure that Cheryl agreed! Would you send Simon to Boot Camp?

Armed with a megaphone and a hidden earpiece, Little Mix certainly made some noise live on Capital on Make Some Noise Day!

Jesy and Perrie got up to some serious mischief in our Leicester Square HQ, under instruction from Dave and Lisa – check out all the antics from the girls!

One Direction also got involved in the Make Some Noise action from backstage of their On The Road Again tour.

Capital’s Dave and Lisa caused a serious divide in 1D, by splitting them in half! Niall and Harry became “Narry” and Liam and Louis became “Lilo” to battle it out in the ultimate One Direction quiz.

Check out which pairing knows the band best, and which member got SO frustrated he stormed off and became a cameraman instead!

Here’s the moment that Brian the Robot came to visit the Capital studio, only it seems he got confused.com about how to get inside…

Stars Charlie Puth and Jess Glynne also stopped by and performed some special (and amazing) live sessions to support Global’s Make Some Noise.

And to top the day off, Five Seconds Of Summer joined Max in the Capital studio to celebrate Make Some Noise and play their brand new single!
