Classic FM Live raises over £4,797 for Make Some Noise

Classic FM Live returned to the Royal Albert Hall on 5th April – and, as always, guests were in for a spectacular evening.

We were treated to some dazzling performances from the likes of Steven Isserlis, Martin Fröst, The Ayoub Sisters, The Royal Scottish National Orchestra, and even Classic FM’s very own Aled Jones, as they all took to the stage at this prestigious venue.

We were also delighted to be joined on stage during the evening by Lesley Schatzberger, founder of Jessie’s Fund – just one of the small projects supported by Global’s Make Some Noise.

Classic FM Live’s hosts, Margherita Taylor and John Suchet, presented Lesley with a cheque for their grant from Global’s Make Some Noise, which will help fund the charity’s ‘Soundtracks Programme’, giving children in special schools the opportunity to participate in music.

We are delighted to announce that thanks to the generosity of the audience, over £4,797 was raised on the evening, which will help to improve the lives of disadvantaged children and young people right across the UK.

A special thank you goes to John Oldham, who presented Global’s Make Some Noise with a cheque for £2,500 on behalf of The Oldham Foundation.
