Global’s Make Some Noise Night 2023 raises more than £1.1 million!

Global's Make Some Noise Night 2023 raises more than £1.1 million!

Rita Ora, Myleene Klass and Busted joined Global’s all-star presenter line-up for Global’s Make Some Noise Night 2023.

The star-studded event raised £1,120,617 which will help fund small charities and projects across the UK, providing vital support for people living with mental and physical health issues, disabilities, homelessness and hunger.

The night was hosted by many of Global’s star-name presenters, including Amanda Holden, Jamie Theakston, Roman Kemp, Sian Welby, Chris Stark, Pandora Christie and James O’Brien, who came together to raise much needed funds to help those living through the toughest of circumstances.

Internationally acclaimed singer-songwriter Rita Ora, hugely talented Classic FM and Smooth Radio presenter and musician Myleene Klass, and multi-BRIT award-winning band Busted took to the stage at The Londoner hotel in Leicester Square to perform in front of 400 special guests.

Smooth Radio’s Kirsty Gallacher, Johnny Vaughan from Radio X, and The News Agents’ Emily Maitlis, Jon Sopel and Lewis Goodall all gave their support on the night. Click here to catch photos of them on the blue carpet.

Stephen Miron, Group CEO of Global, said: “To raise more than £1.1 million for Global’s Make Some Noise is a fantastic achievement and I am incredibly proud of what we have accomplished, both last night, and in the 10 annual Appeals since Global’s Make Some Noise was created. During that time, we have raised more than £35 million, supported 440 projects and charities across the UK, and helped change the lives of more than 175,000 people. This is only possible with the support and generosity of superstar music artists, along with our good friends from the world of music and entertainment, the entire Global family and, most of all, our millions of listeners. We know that thousands of people across the UK are facing hugely challenging circumstances, so through the small charities and projects that we support and champion, we are changing lives for the better.” (2023)

Once again, Barclaycard very generously supported the event.
