Global's Stars visit our projects in 2014

Global’s presenters have been out to visit the fantastic projects we support.

Global’s stars saw how much of a difference Global’s Make Some Noise will be making for disadvantaged young people across the UK.

Heart’s Toby Anstis and Pandora visited Haringey Shed on Monday 29th September and had a great time with the youngsters.

Pandora said: “I had a fantastic time visiting Haringey Shed, the kids were amazing. I loved taking part in their drama class and playing cat and mouse with Toby! I still can’t believe I lost! Ha ha. It was great to see all the fun and effort both the kids and coaches are putting in…I want to go every week!”

Monday also saw Capital Breakfast’s Dave Berry and Lisa Snowdon, Capital Drive’s Greg Burns and Reporter Lorraine Horgan visit The Shooting Star Hospice.

Dave Berry said: “I have been working with children who are life-limited and unwell for a number of years, and each and every time I pay a visit to them I’m warmed by the love, care and attention they receive, and what a safe and happy environment can be created for the entire family. Our trip to Shooting Star Chase Christopher’s Children’s Hospice was no different and it served as a reminder of the essential work Global’s Make Some Noise can do for some wonderful people who need our help”.

Lisa Snowdon said: “Visiting the Shooting Star Chase Christopher’s Children’s Hospice was a really special experience. The support service the Hospice provides to not only the children who desperately need a huge amount of care, but their families as well, is truly outstanding. I’m so grateful I was able to visit one of the many projects that Global’s Make Some Noise supports, and I’m delighted to be part of something that’s changing young lives across the country.”
