Wow – what a year it’s been! We’ve well and truly been blown away with your fantastic fundraising efforts over the past 12 months.
You really have helped us make some noise for the brilliant small charities we support, and because of you, we’re over the moon that, this week, we’ve been able to give out a whopping £2,208,700 in grants to support their amazing work.
Thanks to you, youngsters and their families living with illness, disability or lack of opportunity right across the UK will be able to receive life-changing support and access vital services, that otherwise simply might not be available.
Yes, thanks to you, we’re able to provide 47 specialist roles at the projects, including nurses, counsellors and therapists. We’ll fund 7,716 hours of vital mentoring for disadvantaged youngsters, 2,574 music therapy sessions for children who might otherwise struggle to communicate, 7,784 hours of much-needed support for young carers, and so much more!
Your donations will help provide over 92,000 hours of support to almost 15,000 children and young people up and down the country. Importantly, the charities can also move forward into the future, knowing their vital services are secure for the next two years.
So, from Global’s Make Some Noise and all the charities we support – THANK YOU – you really have given a voice to small projects and helped make a difference.
Emma Bradley, Director of Global’s Make Some Noise, said:
“Global’s Make Some Noise is all about finding and championing small charities that can often get overlooked. We’re thrilled that we’ve been able to fund so many inspiring services right across the UK, all thanks to our fabulous supporters. So, however you got involved, from cake baking to bucket shaking, from fear facing to marathon racing – a big thanks for helping us to make some noise.”
But that’s not all. Of course, in true Make Some Noise style, we had a few surprises up our sleeve when we went to deliver the news to the charities.…
