Easily one of the most important songwriters of all time, Noel Gallagher is as famous for his charisma as his musicianship and this was certainly seen November 3rd at the Hammersmith Club, London.
The legend himself took part in a Q&A session, putting down the guitar to speak with music industry insiders in front of an audience of just 120 people. Interviewed by John Kennedy, they were joined on stage by Nick Wire of Manic Street Preachers, former Creation Records boss Alan McGee and ex-Deputy Editor of NME, Hamish McBain.
The night didn’t fail to deliver interesting tales of Noel’s life. He even delved into the time he famously quit Oasis whilst on a US tour in 1996 and apparently it was all because of a row between Liam and Bonehead over a leather jacket!
If you would have given anything to have listened to this rare insight into Noel Gallagher’s life have no fear – whilst the event sold out in the space of just a minute, you can purchase the digital audio for just £1.99! Better yet, all net proceeds go to Global’s Make Some Noise.
